Based in Manchester, Wudl is an architect-led modular home manufacturer. We have designed a wide range of homes that we hope will meet the diverse needs of individuals and communities.

We offer a full turnkey service - from conducting feasibility studies and masterplanning (where required), to assisting with the planning process, through to the customisation, manufacture, and assembly of the homes.

Our involvement in designing accommodation for homeless people began when a Salford-based charity approached us to design modular pods for the individuals they were supporting.

With the number of people experiencing homelessness growing rapidly across the UK - and globally - there is an urgent need for practical, compassionate solutions. We recognise that homelessness is a deeply complex issue, often involving a range of personal and systemic challenges. However, as Maslow’s hierarchy of needs highlights, access to safe and secure shelter is a fundamental physiological need - the very foundation upon which people can begin to rebuild their lives.

At Wudl, we hope to play a meaningful role by providing dignified, sustainable homes that offer not just shelter, but the first vital step toward stability, security, and hope for a better future.
